Event Recap: Virtual Disability Inclusion Opportunity Summit
In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), Disability:IN Chicagoland hosted its first Virtual Disability Inclusion Opportunity Summit throughout the first two weeks of October. The event series attracted 375 registrants for its discussions on:
- Recruiting, Hiring & Accommodating Neurodiverse Workers;
- The Intersections of Race & Disability Inclusion;
- Transitioning the Workplace into a ‘New Normal’ Amid the COVID 19 Pandemic; &
- Increasing E/BRG Collaboration by Understanding the Power of Identity.
As part of a collaboration with the Disability:IN Wisconsin affiliate, Chicagoland partners were also invited to join Wisconsin’s virtual Ability Summit sessions in last two weeks of the month at a discounted member rate.
